Southend Classic Road race - 10,000 metres, accurately measured, starting at 10.30 a.m. open to all runners,
Races Feature Full medical backup by St. John Ambulance. Race clocks at finish and on lead car. Fast flat course along the Southend Sea Front. Traffic free course.
Entry fee £13 for runners affiliated to UK Athletics WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER; £15 for unattached runners.
For Safety reasons runners must not have personal STEREOS/MP3 Players as whilst the road is hopefully traffic free this cannot be guaranteed as some motorist's vehicles inevitably get trapped on the course.
We are grateful for the continued support of the Southend Borough Council and Southend Police for help in planning the race on Southend's roads.
PLEASE NOTE - NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY and AFFILIATED ATHLETES MUST PROVIDE THEIR UKA REGISTRATION NUMBER TO QUALIFY FOR THE REDUCED ENTRY FEE.

CHILDRENS 3K FUN RUN
Open to children ages 11-14yrs on day of race.Entry fee £6 .The course is now accurately measured and will start in Lifstan Way go along the seafront Eastwards, turn opposite Thorpe Bay Tennis Club and return along the seaside of Eastern Esplanade to finish in Southchurch Park. The course will be traffic free.
